Almdalen package tours
Here in Almdalen we can accommodate all your hunting needs.
From where you park the car to our cabins it is a 9km walk in the summer, of course we meet you at the trail start and transport your luggage with quad bike, in the winter you can get to us with snowmobile or on ski´s.

All the fishing in our nature reserve is natural with no implanted fish, you can expect to catch trout and arctic char.

Terms and conditions for hunting in Almdalen
All hunters must be able to understand English language and be able to use a radio, map, compass and GPS.
The terrain here at Almdalen is very demanding, hunters should be of good physical condition and able to walk long distances.
Included in the prices are eventual trophies although the prices do not include preparation, freight or customs duties.
All meat after a kill remains the property of Almdalen.
Group sizes
Bear hunting minimum 2 persons
Moose hunting minimum 3 persons
Bookings are based on a first come first served basis, you put your name on the waiting list and we will confirm the booking as soon as we reach the minimum number for that hunt.
We require a 50% deposit at the time we confirm the booking with the remaining payment 15 days before arrival.
With payment of the deposit you acknowledge that you have read and understand all terms and conditions for hunting in Almdalen.
Almdalen is an old Swedish style mountain farm based in the north of Sweden near the border with Norway. It was early 18OO when Anders Sjödin settled here when the place still called Grubbfjäll like the mountain it is build on, in 1857 the place gets the name it's called now: ALMDALEN.
Almdalen mountain farm is based in Hotagens Nature reserve about 12kilometer from the nearest road.
The reserve is rich in flora and fauna in between old pine forest, mountains, rivers and lakes. It's the perfect place for all kind of outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, mountain walking, etc.
Today the place is occupied by Randi and Håkan, both park rangers are experienced search and rescue operators for the Swedish SAR organization, they rent out cabins, bed& breakfast, guide hunting and fishing tours, manage the scooter trails in the winter and provide you with anything you need for your stay at the reserve.
